story MAC CARTER, art TONY SALMONS, cover ADAM BYRNE # 1 (of 4)

H.P. Lovecraft can be described as one of the most influential horror writers of the 20th century. His weird-fiction still lives on after eighty years after his death. This four-part mini-series is a story about Lovecraft's created world on paper coming to life. With his imagination, the scary transforms into real and he is the only one who can fight it.

When an ancient curse transforms young H.P. Lovecraft’s darkest nightmares into reality, the timid writer becomes both an unwitting god of destruction and the only person who can battle the evil he’s unleashed into the world. One part biography, one part horror pulp, one part fugitive thriller and you have... one weird tale indeed.

After a tumultuous assimilation into the local high school, a violent confrontation with a creature from his father’s past, and a courageous stand against his father Belloc, Duncan’s life gains a semblance of normalcy. That is, until a mysterious stalker begins to hound his every move, his high school crush rejects his affection, and his father asks him to commit the unthinkable. Collects FIREBREATHER VOL. 2 #1-4
