Iron Fist: The Origin of Danny Rand One-shot

For those of you who don't know who the hell is Danny Rand, time to get yourself in order and take a look at Iron Fist: Origin of Danny Rand. Danny Rand is the Iron Fist, a millionaire and a master of martial arts, who also has the ability to focus his chi power, a natural energy that enhances his natural abilities.

Take time to also check out Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction's mind blowing run of the Immortal Iron Fist (#1-16). Guaranteed thit!

Honor. Dedication. And above all, purity of heart. There have been sixty-six men and women to carry the mantle of THE IMMORTAL IRON FIST throughout the ages – men and women of great courage, valor, skill and sacrifice. Sixty-six men and women have stood between man and the unstoppable forces of evil, willing to give all they have to hold back the hordes. This is the story of Danny Rand, the Iron Fist of today – as told in THE BOOK OF THE IRON FIST! Raised in the otherworldly kingdom of K'un-Lun as an unparalleled martial artist, the Earth-born Rand mastered the ability to focus his spiritual energy into an impervious fist of iron. Now, as the costumed adventurer called Iron Fist, he fights with the fury of his ancestors and a hope for a better tomorrow! Experience the birth of a legend like never before is this special re-presentation of MARVEL PREMIERE #15-16 – featuring lush, fully rendered coloring and an all-new framing sequence by MATT FRACTION and KANO!

Other comics out this week

Final Crisis continues with Legion of Three Worlds tie-in. We will see Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes vs. Superboy-Prime and the Legion of Super-Villains. Geoff Johns (Green Lantern) and George Perez (Brave & the Bold) spearhead this five-part mini-series. Three times as much legions!

Garth Ennis' Run on the Punisher Max has ended. Taking over with Punisher #61 are crime fiction writers Gregg Hurwitz, Duane Swierczynski (Cable) and Victor Gischler. They will be taking turns, each writing a five-part self-contained story arc. First up is Gregg Hurwitz with 'Girls in White Dresses'. Young women are being abducted, only to be returned days later, naked and lifeless. This is where the Punisher comes in.

From IDW Publishing; Dr Who: Forgotten, a six-part mini-series that will feature what fans have been waiting for... past Doctors! We will see each of the ten Doctors, as the tenth Doctor loses his memories and tries to regain them, with the help of Martha.
