TF: ALL HAIL MEGATRON #1 (of 12) - IDW PUBLISHING
Set one year after the events of Transformers: Devastation, Transformers: All Hail Megatron launches a new storyline that shows what happens when great heroes aren’t around to defend against their powerful villains. The Decepticons, led by the ruthless MEGATRON, have somehow succeeded in dispatching the Autobots and their leader, Optimus Prime, leaving Earth ripe for the plucking.
The 12 part maxi-series takes Transformers in new direction, written by Shane McCarthy (Detective Comics) and art by Guido Guidi (TF Beast Wars: The Ascending). Together, they tell the tale of an Earth decimated by the Decepticons. Where are the Autobots and how did they come to be exiled from Earth? Who has changed sides, who will live, and who will die? These questions, as well as the introduction of an all-new Transformers character, will be answered in the pages of the series.
The DECEPTICONS have won, the AUTOBOTS are defeated and the time for conquest is at hand! Or is it? This all-new series written by Shane McCarthy and featuring art by Guido Guidi picks up one year after the Revelations saga, and finds the DECEPTICONS alone and triumphant on Earth, with not an AUTOBOT in sight. With no one to stand in their way, how will the planet survive? And what of the missing AUTOBOTS? The biggest, most epic TRANSFORMERS storyline ever starts here! Klaus Scherwinski presents a shocking cover image, and Trevor Hutchison offers an equally striking variant image - IDW Publishing.
Jeph Loeb & Tim Sale reunite at Marvel with their colour themed stories with Captain America: White - Daredevil: Yellow, Spider-man: Blue and Hulk: Gray being the first three. In this fourth installment, we see Captain America reflecting on the lost of Bucky during World War II. The story tells of Bucky's origins and how Cap and Bucky first met. This story is set early in Steve's career, when he still believed Bucky to be dead. A six-part mini-series.
From Image comics, I Kill Giants is a seven-part comic series equivalent of an indie film - funny, raw, starring real people going though real problems - with a twist. In this case we find Barbara, a troubled fifth grader who is an outsider at school and who also has a fascination with everything to-do with giants, including trying to capture them, both real and imagined.
The BRPD team rushes to track down the mysterious gentleman in BRPD: The Warning - who's been appearing in Liz's visions, as a slew of old enemies, from frog creatures, to the Black Flame, to the last remnants of Hyperborea - menace the Bureau from all sides in a catastrophic escalation to Armageddon. Written by Mike Mignola and John Arcudi and drawn by Guy Davis, this five-part series immediately follows the events of B.P.R.D.: The Killing Ground
