The Comic Shop* is built around that philosophy! We love comics and we love the comic book shop atmosphere! Head on in store to chat about your favourite heroes, villains, movies, cartoons and everything in between! More than just a shop, the atmosphere is that of a community: a friendly neighbourhood comic shop.
THE STORY OF OUR COMIC SHOP
History, life and its mysteries.
Opening our doors in 1994, The Comic Shop traded on the corner of George St. and Moore st. while building our humble community of comic book fans and aficionados.
However, due to this growth, The Comic Shop moved in 2006 to our current location on George St next to Liverpool Library. Here we were able to expand our stock and items carried tenfold to bring the best experience possible!
MEET THE FAMILY
If you chuck the physical appearance of the Comic Book Guy and the very deep and manly voice of Mickey Mouse into a blender, you shall summon the Mighty Jason, owner of the Comic Shop and defender of the secrets of our mystical backroom.
Dylan might think that he's being employed by Jason for having adequate product knowledge or something stupid like that, but in fact, Jason is short and needs to be able to reach tall shelves without using a scissor lift.
That brings us to our dedicated reinforcements. When he isn't busy stockpiling toys or accusing people of not liking fun, Nitin is assisting behind the counter. Dave likes money so he helps sometimes too I guess. This town isn't big enough for two Jasons, so we call him Fomi. He is a fan of black goo monsters and absolutely loves musicals. Please sing to him whenever you see him.
